Let’s chat about your dream home! You may already have a style in mind or have no idea about the possibilities. We’ll ask lots of questions, learn about your design preferences, discuss your needs and your budget, and consider the way you or your family inhabits your living space. A no-obligation site visit may be helpful to further explore your rural lifestyle and capture your vision.

Your dream home takes life on paper! With thoughtful and intelligent design, you feel at ease with your choices. Steve guides you throughout the entire process. Included in this flat fee contract is everything you need to proceed to a full build:

  • Conceptual drawings and design
  • 3D building renderings
  • Floor plans and elevations
  • Estimated building costs

You’ve made your decision and you’re ready to start! We work with you to establish a flexible payment plan that works for both of us. If you need help with your building permit, septic field installation, or road construction, we can do that too!

  • Fixed fee based on your building design. There are no budget surprises!
  • Your payment schedule is based on major milestones. Depending on the complexity of your building, there will typically be 6-10 major draws.

Construction begins! Steve or Tristan is on site and continually monitoring performance and progress.  

  • Direct communication with Steve or Tristan at all phases of construction. There is no chain of command, no middleman. Your designer, builder, project manager, and site supervisor are all the same person.
  • Assistance with all your selections
  • Full interior design package is included complete with 3D coloured renderings
  • Walk-throughs at major stages to ensure perfect placement of interior details

Time to move in! Your pre-possession walk through is complete and the moving truck is on its way.

  • ONE year labour and materials related to the construction of your new home
  • TWO years for delivery and distribution systems – electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning
  • FIVE years for building envelope protection – the building envelope is the shell that separates the interior and exterior environments and protects the indoor environment
  • TEN years for major structural components including frame, roof, and posts/foundation
